We spent a couple of fun-filled hours with Fran for her Bridal Portraits. We did the session at the Legare Waring House at Charlestowne Landing.
My favorite baby model, Jacy turns 1 and we are there to document this day. If you remember, I documented Jacy's birth a year ago as well as her parents engagement photos and their wedding. They have become good friends to us.
We photographed cousins Eva and Luca and their parents at the home of Arthur Ravenell, JR. in Mount Pleasant. You know- the guy the bridge is named after here in Charleston. We photographed Eva's mom and dad on their wedding day a couple years ago. Your eyes arent playing tricks on you- both kids mothers are twins. I have a hard time telling them apart.
Nicole and Martial tied the knot aboard the Carolina Girl Yacht. They wined, dined and sailed their guests in and around Charleston after their ceremony which took place off the Charleston Battery. They are both Marine Biologists, so being married on the water was a must. Martial's family came from Switzerland to witness the nuptials.
Here are some views of the Cooper River Bridge from the new Mount Pleasant Visitor's Center. The Charleston Visitor's Bureau had me shoot the new facility and surrounding areas.
Oct. 10 - Stacey and Hodge - Wedding A busy weekend for Red Shutter...event #2 came on Saturday and we had a great time capturing Stacey and Hodge's wedding! The weather couldn't make up it's mind, and ceremony location changed 5 minutes before start time due to rain...but it turned out perfect! The staff at Coosaw Creek Country Club was outstanding! Stacey and Hodge were surrounding by many friends and family - lots of Clemson alumni - and the vibe was infectious!
Getting to cover this event had something very special about it...not only are Jennie and Darren a wonderful couple, but they were blessed with a wedding venue very dear to their hearts. They were married at the home of Jennie's parents, right on the waterfront on James Island - this home was where her grandmother was born, and her family has owned and lived in many of the lots on most of their street since the early 1900's. With a reception to follow at the SC Aquarium, it was a very special day to remember.
We went down to the aquarium to check out the lighting and angles for an upcoming wedding reception that were to cover there. While there, i snapped a few shots of the residents.
I shot this wonderful couple downtown and at Folly Beach in the area Jose proposed to Sarah.
A Friday wedding is always fun to add to the mix! And what a sweet and beautiful couple we had the pleasure of photographing...Lois Ellen and Hayden celebrated their wedding in our lovely City...they are from North Carolina and selected Lowndes Grove for their big day. Was just perfect!
